The Empire Strikes Bring Finnish Rock ‘n Roll to Málaga

The Empire Strikes Bring Finnish Rock ‘n Roll to Málaga
The “Finnish Steamroller” known as The Empire Strikes invades Málaga on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. This explosive performance at Sala CORE serves as the kickoff for their 2026 Iberian Tour. Specifically, the Helsinki-based quintet arrives to present their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Vol. 5, released through the prestigious Madrid label Ghost Highway Recordings.
A Masterclass in High-Energy Garage Rock
Since their formation in 2012, The Empire Strikes has built a reputation as one of the hardest-working bands in the European rock circuit. Their unique sound blends vitamin-enriched Power Pop with gritty Garage Rock. Furthermore, the band captures their dangerous energy by recording all new material totally live in the studio. This artistic choice ensures that the sweat and urgency of their live shows translate directly to their recorded music.
Join the Congregation at Sala CORE
The venue, Sala CORE, provides an intimate yet powerful setting for this landmark performance. Located in the heart of Málaga, this alternative club stands as a primary hub for live music enthusiasts. Because this tour includes stops at legendary venues like Gruta 77 in Madrid and Hell Dorado in Gasteiz, demand for the Málaga opening night is expected to be high. Therefore, fans are encouraged to join the “congregation” and witness one of the most solid rock ‘n roll acts in Europe today.
