This show is the latest edition in the highly acclaimed “The Invited Work” series. \nFormal Rigor and Poetic Language\nElena Asins was renowned for her formal rigour. Furthermore\, she was known for her unique exploration of mathematical\, poetic\, and visual languages. \n\nFeatured Work: The exhibition’s centerpiece is her final work\, the installation Antigone. This monumental piece is on loan from the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.\nMyth and Media: The installation will be presented alongside one of the audiovisual pieces that Asins created around the myth of Antigone.\nCurator: Miguel López-Remiro\, artistic director of the Museo Picasso Málaga\, curated the show.\n\nTherefore\, this exhibition strengthens the cooperation between these major Spanish institutions.
