Celebrating the legendary Anna Pavlova, the Collection of the Russian Museum in Malaga presents an extraordinary exhibition titled A Life Without Borders. Running from May 20, 2025, to May 22, 2026, this showcase honors the most influential ballerina in history.

Anna Pavlova was born in St. Petersburg and trained at the Imperial Ballet School. She became a global icon through her technical precision and emotional depth. Her most famous role in The Dying Swan remains a symbol of ballet excellence to this day.

This exhibition focuses on Pavlova’s pioneering international tours. She traveled across seas and continents to bring art to audiences far beyond traditional European theaters. Between 1920 and 1931, she became the world’s leading star, proving that art could unite different cultures and generations.

Visitors will discover a treasure trove of rare artifacts. The collection includes vintage programs from around the globe and historical newspaper clippings. These items offer a glimpse into a time when ballet was first conquering the world stage. It is a tribute to a woman whose dedication to beauty and harmony truly knew no borders.
