Concierto de Santa Cecilia
A Historic Musical Celebration in Estepona
This November, the city of Estepona prepares for a very special cultural event. Specifically, the Banda Municipal de Estepona will perform its “Concierto Extraordinario” in honor of Santa Cecilia, the patron saint of music.
However, this year is extra special. Notably, the event celebrates the 85th Founding Anniversary (1940-2025) of the band. Therefore, it promises to be an emotional and spectacular evening for all attendees.
The Program: A Night of Symphonic & Lyric Beauty
Scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025, the concert marks the beginning of the new 2025-26 symphonic season. Furthermore, the program is divided into two exciting parts:
- Symphonic Band Classics: The first half features masterpieces by Ferrer Ferran and Perfecto Artola. In particular, they will recover the original manuscript of the work “Axarquía.”
- Lyric Gala: Later, the band will join forces with the Coral Magnum Mysterium. Together, they will perform famous Zarzuela and Opera pieces, including works by Verdi and Bretón.
Venue and Ticket Information
The event takes place at the impressive Teatro Auditorio Felipe VI. Best of all, admission is completely free.
However, you must pick up an invitation in advance. Currently, invitations are available at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel. Make sure to collect yours early, as capacity is limited and this popular event usually fills up quickly.
