Position Overview
An international couple based in Madrid is seeking a professional, highly organized, and discreet Household Manager & Food Prep Assistant. This is a live-out position combining hands-on household management with hospitality-level service and occasional EU travel support.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable maintaining high standards in a private home environment.
Key Responsibilities
Household Management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of primary residence and short-term rental properties (Airbnbs, rented homes, etc.)
Oversee general household systems and daily upkeep
Manage supplies and household inventory
Laundry & Garment Care
Complete all laundry duties, including handwashing (3x per week)
Expert-level ironing required (linen, wool, cashmere, delicate fabrics)
All tools and supplies provided
Food Preparation
Grocery shopping and kitchen organization
Prepare two simple meals per day
Assist with breakfast and meal prep (smoothies, avocado toast, lunch/dinner prep)
Ability to follow recipes (chef-level experience not required)
Hospitality & Service
Set and serve formal dining experiences when needed
Support travel preparation and packing logistics
Provide assistance during EU travel as required
Requirements
Fluent in English and Spanish
Valid EU passport
Valid driver’s license
Physically fit and capable of performing active household duties
No pet allergies
Professional, discreet, and non-intrusive demeanor
