Academic Coordinator (Coordinador/a Académico) – Kids&Us Marbella

About the Opportunity Currently, Kids&Us leads the market in English language education for children. Therefore, we are actively seeking a passionate Academic Coordinator to lead our team in Marbella. We change the education landscape by offering meaningful English learning experiences. Specifically, our method relies on the natural process of mother tongue acquisition.

Consequently, we need a dynamic professional to guide our teachers. You must ensure educational excellence and maintain close communication with families to guarantee student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• First, you will support and guide the teaching team in lesson preparation. Thus, you ensure they follow the unique Kids&Us methodology effectively.
• Additionally, you will monitor student progress. You will track attendance, grades, and reports to ensure every child reaches their potential.
• Furthermore, you must conduct evaluations at the end of each trimester and story unit.
• Also, you will maintain regular contact with families. For example, you will manage meetings and communicate their children’s development and achievements.
• Finally, you will combine this coordination role with teaching your own classes (approx. 40% of the time) to stay connected with the method.

Requirements:

• Linguistically, you must possess a Proficiency level of English (C1/C2). In this way, you act as a role model for teachers and students.
• Regarding experience, we require previous experience in teaching English to children. Moreover, we highly value experience in team coordination or educational management.
• Academically, we prefer a degree in English Philology, Translation, Early Childhood Education, or a similar field.
• Personally, you must be organized and empathetic. Above all, you need strong leadership skills to motivate your team.
• Legally, you must provide a clear Sexual Offences Certificate to work with minors.
