We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst – Equity Swaps to join our multicultural team in Málaga, Spain. This role is vital in supporting a Global Markets Equity Swaps program, ensuring front-to-back alignment for strategic and regulatory initiatives.

1. MISSION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams. Your primary focus will be on the end-to-end Equity Swaps lifecycle:

• Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with Trading and Sales teams to elicit and analyze Equity Swaps requirements.
• Documentation & Agile Support: Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with Risk, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure alignment with control and regulatory frameworks.
• Quality Assurance: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including scenario definition and business sign-off.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce operational risk and increase efficiency.
• US Market Coverage: Provide operational support aligned to US business hours (11:00–20:00 Spanish time).

2. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking a delivery-focused professional with an analytical mindset:

• Experience: Proven background as a Business Analyst within Global Markets or Investment Banking.
• Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Equity Swaps and equity derivatives products.
• Agile Proficiency: Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Language Skills: Strong communication skills in English.
• Technical Awareness: Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence and awareness of system integrations (APIs, Kafka, or Tibco).
