🚀 Your Mission: Culinary Excellence & Safety

Your primary goal involves preparing high-quality food for our guests based on established guidelines. Therefore, you will supervise the production of all food required for your assigned outlet. Furthermore, you will maintain all hotel safety and sanitation standards while ensuring the proper use of recipe logs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Production: Prepare hot meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Specifically, you must ensure all food is ready on time for the canteen and restaurant service.
  • Quality Control: Maintain food quality according to standardized recipes and procedures. In addition, you will handle guest requests with a positive attitude.
  • Inventory Management: Utilize the FIFO system and ensure proper labeling at all times. Moreover, you must manage leftovers correctly to minimize waste.
  • Sanitation & Hygiene: Follow the “clean as you go” policy. Consequently, you will ensure your station is spotless at the end of every shift.
  • Equipment Mastery: Operate various tools safely, including electric slicers, mixers, meat grinders, and convection ovens.
  • Collaboration: Participate in daily 15-minute pre-shift briefings to stay updated on VIPs, groups, and daily specials.

✅ Who You Are

  • The Professional: You bring at least one year of experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • The Technician: You hold an official culinary degree or a Level 2 Professional Certificate (HOTR0408 or HOT093_2).
  • Certified: You must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate (Carné de Manipulador de Alimentos).
  • The Linguist: You have basic communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Physically Capable: You can lift up to 20 kg occasionally and maintain a high pace of work.
  • The Team Player: You are honest, reliable, and flexible. Furthermore, you maintain a positive and professional attitude even during peak business periods.
