In this role, you aren’t just checking boxes; instead, you are the guardian of our team’s well-being. Specifically, you will support the HR Director by ensuring that every hotel within our Málaga operations center remains a safe, compliant, and healthy environment for our “VIP” staff.

Job Description: Health & Safety Coordinator (HR)

🚀 Your Mission: Safety, Health & HR Excellence

As the Health & Safety Coordinator, your primary goal involves supporting the HR Director in managing Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) across our Málaga hotels. Therefore, you will monitor and ensure strict compliance with all health and safety measures. Furthermore, you will integrate these safety protocols into the broader HR strategy to foster a socially responsible work culture.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Oversight: Monitor and ensure the fulfillment of all Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) obligations across the operational center’s hotels.

  • HR Coordination: Support the HR Director in general departmental tasks, maintaining a high standard of administrative excellence.

  • Compliance & Policy: Follow and implement company policies, processes, and digital tools related to health and safety.

  • Personnel Administration: Manage essential HR functions, including onboarding/offboarding (altas/bajas), collective bargaining agreements (convenios), and medical leave management (ITs/ACL).

  • Internal Auditing: Vigilantly oversee the implementation of safety measures to minimize workplace risks.

  • Collaboration: Act as a proactive point of contact for health and safety queries within the HR team.

✅ Who You Are

  • The Professional: You bring at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hotel industry.

  • The Academic: You hold a degree in Psychology, Labor Relations, Law, or a similar field with a specialization in Human Resources.

  • The Specialist: You are a certified High-Level Technician (Técnico Superior) or hold a Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL).

  • The Expert: You possess deep knowledge of HR administration, local hospitality labor laws, and medical leave management.

  • The Linguist: You have a high level of English. Additionally, knowledge of other languages is a distinct advantage.

  • The Communicator: You possess excellent collaborative skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • The Traveler: You have the availability to travel and work across various locations within the Málaga province.
