Junior Application Security Analyst (SDLC & Containers)

We are looking for a Junior Application Security Analyst who is ready to move beyond just writing code and start protecting it. If you have a background in software development but a burning curiosity for cybersecurity, specifically within Docker and Kubernetes ecosystems, we want you in our Málaga hub.

III. YOUR MISSION: SECURING THE STACK

In this role, you won’t just be checking boxes; you’ll be an active guardian of our applications from the design phase to deployment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Container Governance: Manage vulnerabilities within containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Threat Modeling: Conduct risk assessments for new applications during the design phase to catch flaws early.
• Security Testing: Own the follow-up for code vulnerabilities using SCA, SAST, and DAST methodologies.
• Continuous Monitoring: Ensure that our container ecosystems remain resilient against evolving threats.

IV. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

We value technical foundations and a “pro-security” mindset.

Must-Haves:

• Dev Foundation: 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Container Savvy: 2+ years of knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, and container ecosystems.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with code security analysis tools and container scanning.
• Language: Fluent level of English (working in a multicultural environment).
• Mindset: A strong interest in cybersecurity and a proactive, curious nature.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CKA, CKS, OSCP, or CISSP).
• Previous experience in regulated industries like Banking or Fintech.
