Release Manager / DevOps Engineer (Mid-Level)

We are looking for a Mid-Level Release Manager / DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Málaga. In this role, you will support complex software delivery environments for a major international client, acting as the critical link between development, operations, and quality teams to ensure smooth, secure, and predictable releases.

III. YOUR MISSION: ORCHESTRATING DELIVERY

You will be responsible for coordinating release activities and ensuring the reliability of our cloud-native infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Release & CI/CD: Plan and manage software releases across multiple environments. Maintain branching strategies (GitFlow/Trunk-Based) and optimize pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure & Containers: Operate Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters in production. Oversee Docker image lifecycles and infrastructure automation with Ansible and Python.
• Quality & Standards: Enforce quality gates with SonarQube and support TDD/BDD practices to ensure every release meets high-security standards.
• Observability: Monitor system health using Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and OpenTelemetry to drive operational excellence.
• Agile Partnership: Work within Scrum/Kanban frameworks, collaborating closely with QA and Security teams to resolve dependencies.

IV. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

We are seeking a proactive engineer who thrives in fast-paced, Agile environments.

Must-Haves:

• Experience: 3+ years in Release Management or DevOps roles.
• Technical Core: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production and solid CI/CD management.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Ansible and Python.
• Development: Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Groovy.
• Language: Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is desirable.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Cloud: Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Security: Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools (CodeQL, Veracode, BurpSuite).
• Databases: Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Testing: Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Karate.
