FAQ

November events in Marbella: your questions answered

Highlights include the Málaga Jazz Festival from 3 to 10 November, the Fiesta del Tostón in Ojén on 8 November, Candlelight Einaudi on 13 November, Melendi on 20 and 21 November and Raphael on 28 November.

Yes. The Fiesta del Tostón in Ojén on 8 November is free. So are the Málaga Christmas lights switch on and the Polo Market in Sotogrande. The weekly markets are free to browse: Mondays in Marbella, Thursdays in San Pedro and Saturdays in Nueva Andalucía, 09:00 to 14:00.

The town hall had not announced the 2026 date when we checked on 29 October 2026. In 2025 the switch on was on Saturday 29 November at 20:00, on Avenida Ramón y Cajal. We will update this guide when it is confirmed.

Many need no Spanish at all. Concerts, dance, sport and markets work in any language. The Candlelight and boxing pages are in English. Village fiestas such as Ojén are run in Spanish, but everyone is welcome.

The Málaga Jazz Festival runs from 3 to 10 November. Melendi plays the Martín Carpena on 20 and 21 November, and Raphael on 28 November. The Calle Larios lights and the Jardín de Oz light trail start on 27 November. On Sunday 8 November the Málaga Marathon brings road closures in central Málaga that morning.
